The operation of power transformers has become a challenge in view of the need to make the most of the potential for the use of the equipment, but without impairing the performance and service life of the equipment.
We develop studies to determine the loading limits of power transformers through computational techniques based on finite element models. With this, we estimate hot spots in the transformers, which allows to make the most of the equipment, minimizing the risks of operation.
